Analysis We analyze the user’s behavior by profiling API requests on different parameters. For example, Layer 7/4 protocol fingerprints, usage patterns and application level characteristics of the request itself. Each parameter is analyzed and anomalies are scored in order to identify API requests that are automated and/or malicious in nature. Enforcement Based on analysis and risk score, we enforce access control directly at the API sensor level. PerimeterX provides a complete set of rate limiting and access controls (tokens) to detect abuse and validate usage rights on your APIs.
