At Lyrebird we are developing a new generation of speech synthesis technologies that will will offer to developers and companies through an API. Our models are the result of several years of research conducted at the MILA lab at University of Montreal. Our technology is the very first of this kind to allow copying voices in a matter of minutes. We believe that vocal human-computer interfaces will become more and more widespread in the future and we want to lead the race. Lyrebird is a YCombinator company (S17) and is backed by some of the best investors of the world: Andreessen Horowitz, Redpoint and SVangel.
